Winner of 2016 Student-Led Award for Outstanding Innovation in Teaching
Stephanie joined Worcester Business School in January 2014. She leads four specialist financial accounting modules and a business strategy module. Stephanie is also responsible for the exemption accreditation arrangements with the professional accounting bodies, as part of her role as Course Leader for Accounting and Finance.
Stephanie qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2005 and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (‘ACCA’). She has 14 years professional practice experience working as a financial accountant and auditor, including, eight years at Grant Thornton UK LLP as an Audit Manager. During this time, Stephanie worked closely with a wide variety of companies from small owner managed businesses to large international groups and public listed companies. She was also heavily involved in graduate recruitment, the summer internship scheme, local induction and training.
Stephanie is currently researching for her doctoral (PhD) study in the field of private company financial reporting at the University of Bristol.

Research Interests
Stephanie's current research interests are around developments affecting non-listed UK companies in respect of FRS 102 The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland and FRS 105 The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-Entities Regime.
