I have been a physiotherapist for 6 years, working for local NHS trusts primarily in senior rotational roles. I have wide and varied professional practice experience in musculoskeletal outpatients, orthopaedics, respiratory, acute medical, surgical, ITU, and stroke rehabilitation.
I am particularly enthusiastic about practice education and have helped support and develop many students in different settings. I enjoy building relationships with local practice partners and helping our students prepare for their clinical placements. I joined the University of Worcester in October 2018.
Outside of work my interests include running and triathlon. I am a committee member for a newly affiliated running club, with a particular passion for improving inclusivity for the local community and the visually impaired. I also represent the GB Age-Group team at the European level in Middle Distance Duathlon.
