In January 2007, Rebecca enrolled in the first ever FdSc cohort to study Paramedic Science at the University of Worcester. Having successfully qualified as a Paramedic in January 2009, she went on to have an enjoyable, memorable and varied career working for the West Mercia locality of West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS). During this time Rebecca worked on a double crewed ambulance and also spent the last few years of career front line working solo as a community paramedic on an ambulance car.

She has always been passionate about teaching and greatly enjoyed mentoring whilst working for WMAS. Rebecca joined the University of Worcester in October 2017 and has greatly enjoyed her role in educating future generations of Paramedics.
