Lewis is a part-time PhD student in the School of Sport & Exercise Science at the University of Worcester.
Lewis’s main research interest is in Leadership in elite sporting environments. His PhD research explores the relationship between effective leadership and learning in elite level sport. He is conducting a mixed methods study exploring the means through which leaders in elite sporting environments earn the support of followers, and the subsequent relationship between followership and learning.
His supervisors are Dr Andy Cale, Dr Don Vinson and Dr Christian Edwards.
Prior to commencing his PhD, Lewis was awarded an MSc Studentship with the University of Worcester; completing an MSc Sports Coaching Science and PG Cert Learning & Teaching in Higher Education.
