Luca is part-time PhD student in the Worcester Business School at the University of Worcester. 

Luca’s main research interest is the role of social and relational capital in determining the success and failure of new ventures.  His PhD research concerns the investment decision-making process of non-professional investors in equity crowdfunding. 

His supervisors are Dr David Bozward and Dr Robin Bell.   

Prior to commencing his PhD, Luca has developed his professional career in marketing and communications, serving over a decade with Fortune 500 companies. He has worked both in-house and in agencies specialising in Corporate, Financial & Crisis Communications with a particular focus on the following industries: Financial Services, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, and Specialty Retail.
