Louisa is delighted to have the opportunity to work with the hard working athletes who are part of the Netball Programme at the University of Worcester. She is excited by the opportunities presented to the University Netball by being part of the partnership with Super League franchise, Severn Stars. Louisa is looking to develop a high performance culture with the University teams, where every player is encouraged to play, train and develop both on the court and off.

- UKCC Level Two Netball Coaching 2010
- Passed UKAD Anti-Doping Course 2016
- C Award Umpiring 2011
- Certificate in First Aid 2014 Course in Child Protection in a boarding environment 2008
- BSc Secondary Science and Mathematics with QTS 2013
Scope of Role at the University
Overseeing University of Worcester Netball Programme and organisation of University of Worcester Netball Club.
Internal Responsibilities:
Coach of the BUCS 1st team, oversee the Coaching Programme for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th BUCS teams. Organise umpires for all home games. Publicise all fixtures, results and training. Organise preseason and appropriate friendly opposition for all 5 teams. Oversee the S&C programme for 1st team and development players. Organise Netball Budget and UWNetball equipment. Ensure that UWNetball Committee continues to function effectively for the club. Attract UWNetball club sponsorship and look for opportunities to develop Coaching and Umpiring programme. Develop relationship with Worcester Netball Club and other external netball partnerships, including Coach Mentorship Programme. Work to recruit quality netball players to the University of Worcester, with events such as Netball Workshops on Applicant / Interview / Open Days.
External Responsibilities:
Severn Stars National Performance League U17, U19 and U21 Co-ordinator. In this role, Louisa is Assistant Coach for the U19 and U21 NPL Severn Stars sides that compete against other franchise age group sides in the league and is Team Manager for the U17 age group. Louisa also organises the Severn Stars Future Stars Netball Camps that run at the University Arena, providing the opportunity for local young players to experience a day of coaching with Senior Severn Stars players.
