Teaching & Research
I am a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for the MSc Public Health at the University of Worcester. I am module leader for a range of postgraduate modules on the course.
My research interests currently centre around the links between wellbeing and contact with nature and greenspaces, the subject area for my recently completed PhD at the University of Lancaster: ‘Wellbeing and Greenspaces: new understandings for new initiatives' Centre for Social and Environmental Change, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Lancaster University (in Collaboration with Natural England).
I am the Director of Studies for a co-funded PhD ‘Transforming Systems, Transforming Lives: an evaluation of a jointly commissioned payment from savings service that aims to help severe and multiple deprivation families’ which is exploring (in conjunction with Vestia Community Trust) the role of joint commissioning and social finance in improving services for ‘troubled families’.
