I have been practicing as a qualified Physicians' Assistant (Anaesthesia) at North Bristol NHS Trust since early 2008. Working at a busy teaching hospital I have built on a background in research and have gained and developed clinical skills, teaching experience and general medical and surgical knowledge.

I teachAnatomy and Physiology and Research methods to first year PA. I am currently academic tutor for the part -time students.

Qualifications

PhD- Use of bioluminescent reporter bacteria to study the effectiveness of anti-cancer drugs, University of the West of England, Bristol (2009)
PgDip- Anaesthesia Practitioner (Now Physicians Assistant (Anaesthesia))- University of Birmingham (2008)
PgCert- Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. University of the West of England, Bristol (2002) MSc- Medical Microbiology. University of the West of England, Bristol (2001)
