Joanna is a qualified Nutritional Therapist who has previously been in private practice in Gloucestershire. She has been teaching on the Nutritional Therapy course since 2016 and has been a permanent member of the teaching staff since 2019. She particularly enjoys supporting students who are new to science, observing their development from the start of the course to becoming professional practitioners at the end.

  • B.Sc. (Hons) Food Science & Nutrition; Exercise & Health - 1st Class
  • M.Sc. Nutritional Therapy - Distinction
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Learning & Teaching in Higher Education

 

Teaching Interests

Joanna teaches on most of the modules in the Nutritional Therapy course. She particularly enjoys teaching the biochemistry, physiology and pathophysiology areas of the course as she finds these subjects fascinating. Joanna also appreciates her role in supervising the student clinic and observing the students development.

  • Nutrition and Functional Medicine
