Linzi joined the University of Worcester in 2003, after a career teaching across primary, middle and secondary schools in Worcestershire, Oxfordshire and in Scotland.

She enjoys teaching on both the primary PGCE and the primary Undergraduate ITE course, and is keen to promote the place of art in the primary curriculum, and supervises dissertations in this field. Since the pandemic, Linzi has been eager to go back into schools to mentor students on School Experience. The pastoral component is a key aspect of her role, and she involves building positive relationships with her personal and academic tutees.

She is now a part-time tutor.
