I have held public health roles in practice for over 30 years and feel privileged to now be working with the next generation of health and care professionals, developing their understanding of public health concepts and outcomes.

I have worked in the North-East, Kent, Birmingham, Herefordshire and Worcestershire and for the last 14 years I have been a senior leader in the local public health system, most recently as Director of Public Health for Worcestershire.

I am committed to embedding understanding of the prevention of ill-health and the narrowing of health inequalities in student learning at the University of Worcester and believe this to be a key enabler for securing the future of a sustainable national health and social care system.
