Declan is a graduate Sports Therapist and joined the University of Worcester in September 2017. His role has adapted and grown from clinic supervision, external event cover, scholarship athlete treatment and now includes teaching across all 3 years of the Sports Therapy BSc.

Declan maintains a keen work ethic within sport as a practitioner, often applying himself within Rugby. Recent roles have included Bromsgrove RFC, Gloucester-Hartpury Women and Worcester Women. These have all contributed to his development and ability to treat elite athletes, as well as gaining valuable experiences in pitch-side trauma. 

As a player and Sports Therapist Declan is also involved with GB Ultimate Frisbee. Playing for 15 years and now contributing to the progression of the sports medical provision and treatment of athletes.

Future interests include furthering his trauma qualifications, continuing his work within sport and now developing new teaching techniques at the University.
