Riverside

Specialist Arts and Sports facilities

The Riverside building provides additional specialised space for the University’s work in Sport, Performance and Dance. It also has a social learning/internet space for students called the Learning Exchange.

The Garage

Arts Studios

The facilities for Fine Art and Art & Design have moved to a purpose designed block of buildings called The Garage situated between the St John’s Campus and the City Campus. Teaching takes place in a range of studio and workshop spaces which have been designed specifically to accommodate the range of practices explored on the course. Students are encouraged to use the spaces outside of teaching time to develop an open plan studio ethos based on year groupings that will facilitate the development of your creativity and skills

Facilities at The Garage include three purpose built artists’ studios, workshop facilities and lecture/performance space. The building also houses a research room, print presses and project space. The Garage is home to several members of staff as well as dedicated technicians.

Worcester Arena

By the river, halfway between both campuses, we’re planning to build the Worcester Arena.

The Arena will make a real difference to people’s lives by increasing sport participation from grass roots to elite level.

The facilities will cater for disability by design and enable true inclusion. As well as providing a new base for the top league Worcester Wolves basketball team, the Arena will also be an exciting venue for live music and performances.
