Private accommodation
A new home
For independence, a house or flat share can be the perfect choice. Worcester has plenty of good, reasonably priced accommodation which is close to the University. As a student off campus you still have access to the same facilities as students living on campus, including the support of the Accommodation Team and Student Experience Team to help you with any queries that might arise.
Our Accommodation team can help you find suitable off-campus accommodation. Whether you are a first year, returning or postgraduate student – there is plenty of accommodation available within walking distance of the University and the University works closely with landlords to ensure accommodation is of the required standard.
The University works closely with private landlords and Worcester City Council to ensure all student shared houses are accredited and offer good standards. We also offer advice on housing matters such as tenancy agreements and questions to ask landlords with regard to safety and fire precautions, so you are supported at every step of the way.
If you need to visit Worcester to view properties, temporary accommodation may be available in University residencies – contact the accommodation team on 01905 855137 to find out more.

Full details and more information about off campus properties can be found at www.studentpad.co.uk/worcester
Call in to the Accommodation office or telephone on 01905 855300 or 01905 855137 first to pick up the password. This simple-to-use site gives full details of all accredited properties, lots of photographs and much more, and is also cleverly designed to assist groups of friends when applying for houses in years two and three. Please remember length of agreement, deposits and arrangements for paying bills separately all vary in private rented houses. Do please take advice from the Accommodation Team if you are unsure about any of these important details.
Although the University of Worcester works closely with Worcester City Council to advertise accredited student shared properties in the local area, it does however reserve the right to refuse permission for a landlord to advertise on its Studentpad website. Decisions to remove an existing landlord from the register, or prevent a new landlord from advertising, will be made by the Residential Services Manager. The outcome of this will be non-negotiable.
