Facilities around campus and in town

Most things required for every day living are available right on campus, including: a shop, canteen, coffee shops, fitness centre, laundrette, music rehearsal rooms, quiet study areas, SU bar and all weather sports pitches.

Worcester is a student friendly city with a strong sense of community. There are plenty of useful amenities right on our doorstep, including a Tesco Express, banks, pharmacies, a doctor’s surgery, a post office and plenty of cheap and cheerful pubs. Worcester’s busy high street, which offers most big name shops and department stores, along with a cinema and plenty of nice restaurants, is an easy walk from St John’s and is just minutes away from our City Campus.

I’m a mum. I’m looking for all the mum things- where’s the nearest Tesco, where’s the laundrette- will he be OK? Mandy

Worcester is an easy city to get around- most students don’t need a car as it’s so convenient to travel by foot. There are two nearby train stations, a coach terminal and the 31 bus (which runs across the city) stops right outside the Students’ Union.
