David is a lecturer in EFL and is the main course tutor on the CELTA course at Worcester University. David is originally from London and started working in TEFL after gaining the RSA CTEFLA in 1995. He has taught in Venice, Tokyo, London, and Cheltenham. David is qualified with the Trinity College London LTCL Diploma TESOL and an MSc TESOL from Aston University.
He has taught in a variety of contexts from private language schools to FE colleges and HE. He has had a wide variety of roles ranging from Teacher, Assistant Director of studies, Director of Studies, Head of Teacher Training, IELTS examiner, TESOL Course Director and Academic Manager. David established the first Trinity Cert TESOL and Diploma Courses in Japan in 2006 and 2008 respectively.
Davidís professional interests include English as a Lingua Franca and CLIL. In his spare time he enjoys cult cinema, listening to music, photography and, after many years, is still trying to teach himself the guitar.

David is a member of the Trinity College London Diploma TESOL examining panel. Duties include writing exam papers, assessing portfolios, and conducting the phonology and teaching practice examinations.
