Register

When you arrive at the cathedral the first thing that you must do is register your attendence with staff in the Chapter House on the far side of the Cathedral from the main entrance.

Take your seat

Once you have registered you will be given your seat number. It is important that you take your seat well in advance of your ceremony beginning. Staff will be on hand to help you find your seat.

The Ceremony

During the ceremony staff will ask you to get out of your seat in preparation for your name being called. Once your name is read out you will walk onto the stage, shaking hands with both the Vice Chancellor and your respective Course Leader, then exit the stage where you will collect your certificate before returning to your seat.

Leaving the Cathedral

Academics and staff begin the procession out of the Cathedral, which graduates are asked to join. Once outside, coaches will be available to transport you and your guests back to campus
