The day of your ceremony
Parking
A parking permit, for the day of your ceremony, will be available online for you to download and print when you have confirmed your attendance and made appropriate payment. If you require disabled parking please ensure that you make this clear on your ticket order form.
Tickets
Guest tickets can be collected from campus (room to be advised) from 8 am on the day of your ceremony.
Photography
Official photography services can be found in the Conference Centre throughout the day and also at the post-ceremony reception in the Sports Hall . There will also be an opportunity to purchase the photo of each graduand crossing the stage at the Cathedral at the reception after the ceremony. Please feel free to use the rest of the campus for personal photographs.
Gowns
You can collect your gown from the Cotswold Suite, which is situated directly above the reception and main foyer. Please ensure that you return your gown by 5:30pm on the day of your ceremony. Please click here to see details of Academic Dress.
Coaches
Coaches are provided to take both guests and graduands together, to and from the Cathedral. Coaches leave from outside the Student Union, after your ceremony coaches will collect you from outside the Cathedral and return you to campus where you are invited to a post ceremony reception in the Sports Hall.

Register
When you arrive at the cathedral the first thing that you must do is register your attendence with staff in the Chapter House on the far side of the Cathedral from the main entrance.
Take your seat
Once you have registered you will be given your seat number. It is important that you take your seat well in advance of your ceremony beginning. Staff will be on hand to help you find your seat.
The Ceremony
During the ceremony staff will ask you to get out of your seat in preparation for your name being called. Once your name is read out you will walk onto the stage, shaking hands with both the Vice Chancellor and your respective Course Leader, then exit the stage where you will collect your certificate before returning to your seat.
Leaving the Cathedral
Academics and staff begin the procession out of the Cathedral, which graduates are asked to join. Once outside, coaches will be available to transport you and your guests back to campus
