How to apply

If you are interested in the Primary Initial Teacher Education 3 Year BA (Hons), you should apply through UCAS (see our page on degree applications for further details).

Applications for PGCE courses, both Primary and Secondary, should be made online through the Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR).

Graduate Teacher Programme applicants should apply using the TDA online application system which can be found via the University of Worcester provider page.

When to make your application:

PGCE

Those applying for Primary PGCE courses should apply between 1st September and 1st December of the year preceding entry to the course. Applications received after this date will only be considered if there are still vacancies on the course.

You can apply for up to four separate courses. These may be a mixture of levels and subjects but no more than four for Primary courses. You should list the courses in the order of preference.

For Secondary PGCE, there is no early closing date for applications. For further information on Primary and Secondary applications, go to the GTTR website.

Graduate Teacher Programme

Primary GTP applications are accepted from 1st September until 30th November and places will be offered following the interview process commencing in November. Demand for the Primary course is very high so you are strongly advised to apply as early as possible.

Secondary GTP applications are accepted from 1st September each year. We do not set a specific closing date for Secondary applications; we remain open until all places have been filled. However, those applying for English, History and PE should apply early as we have very limited places available and demand is high.

You must have GCSE grades A - C in English, Maths and Science before application for Primary and Secondary GTP.
