MBA Full-time

An MBA prepares you to be a skilled and knowledgeable leader who can influence people, offer strategic direction and make good use of financial, human and technical resources.

We will help you to develop creative thought and insight and challenge you to stretch your natural abilities. Our mixture of theory and practice gives you academic expertise combined with real-world experience.

You will be studying alongside practitioners from a diverse range of business and professional backgrounds, and will benefit from shared experiences of management styles from varying organisations and business cultures.

The MBA is appropriate for you if you have experience of management in either a commercial or public sector environment. You don't necessarily need to have had previous exposure to business and management studies

Applicants will normally have a first or second-class Honours Degree or equivalent in any subject and at least two years of business/management experience

If English is not your first language, you will be expected to have reached a sufficient standard on admission to the course (e.g. IELTS 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in each element)

Modules

The Masters award will require you to complete a supervised 10,000-word Dissertation. Your Dissertation will commence following successful completion of the module in Research Methods, and will involve one-to-one supervised research into a topic of your choice, perhaps based on your own organisation.

Assessment

The course is designed to be student-centred and features a significant amount of group work and case study analysis. Assessments will focus on professionally relevant projects, reports and presentations related to relevant areas of leadership and management.
