Health & Complementary Therapies FdSc
This Foundation degree is a recognised qualification in its own right and is suitable for anyone working or wanting to work in health and complementary therapy settings.
The course incorporates the awards of ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council) Diplomas in Holistic Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology to enable you to become a qualified, registered and insured practitioner in these complementary therapies in addition to gaining the Foundation degree award.
You will acquire the technical skills, academic knowledge and transferable skills to prepare you for employment in health and complementary therapy. A significant component of the course will incorporate practice-based and work-based learning.
The course will prepare you for employment in the health and complementary therapies industry, and incorporates International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC) Diplomas in Holistic Massage, Reflexology and Aromatherapy.
There will be the opportunity to progress to a relevant top-up degree and postgraduate study.

Alternatively, you may choose to go onto further study at degree level. On successful completion of the Foundation degree, you will be eligible to apply for direct entry to the third year of the Undergraduate Modular Scheme at the University of Worcester on the BSc (Hons) Health and Complementary Therapies Top-up degree.
