General English classes

Do you live or work in Worcestershire or Herefordshire? Would you like to improve your reading, writing, speaking or listening skills, your grammar or vocabulary?

Cambridge (ESOL) examinations, Preliminary English Test (PET), First Certificate Examination (FCE), Advanced Examination (CAE) and Proficiency Examination (CPE) are qualifications that are recognised by many employers and educational colleges worldwide.

If you would like to study on our General English preparation course and improve your qualifications, the Language Centre is offering part-time evening classes with continuous enrolment. New students can join the class at the beginning of any new week.

Classes take place in the Language Centre, which is located on the University's St John's campus, in the Bredon Building.

How to find Bredon

Once you have come in through the main entrance of Bredon, turn right and follow the signs to the Language Centre.

Pay per 4 weeks

The cost is £80 for 4 weeks in a row. You can enrol for as many four-week periods as you like. So, for instance, if you want to study for 12 weeks, you will pay £240 in total, but you can pay it in three instalments of £80.
