I qualified as a paramedic in January 2009 and started working for West Midlands Ambulance Service where I progressed to work as a Clinical Team Mentor.† I then started a secondment at University of Worcester in September 2015 as a lecturer/practitioner which allows me to teach and support paramedic students in the classroom and in practice.

I teach across the modules in the FdSc Paramedic Science programme which include anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, practical clinical scenarios and patient assessment which includes emergency patient treatment and management, ECG interpretation and leadership, mentoring and coaching theories.

Iím still operational as a paramedic and regularly work on the emergency ambulances
