Women's History Network Midlands Region Conference - The First World War: Nursing

This year’s Women’s History Network Midlands Region Conference entitled ‘The First World War: Nursing’ will take place at the University of Worcester (City Campus) on Saturday, 21 November 2015, 10.30am – 4.00pm in CHG 009.  We are delighted to announce that in combination with a wide and varied programme, we have a keynote addresses from Prof Christine E. Hallett, The University of Manchester.  Her publications include: Containing Trauma: Nursing Work in the First World War (Manchester University Press, 2009); Veiled Warriors: Allied Nurses of the First World War (Oxford University Press, 2014) and One Hundred Years of Wartime Nursing Practices (with Jane Brooks, Manchester University Press, 2015).
