The beautiful Charles Hastings building at City Campus is a Grade II listed Georgian building and has been one of Worcesterís most important landmarks for over 200 years. It provides a truly memorable venue for your ceremony
Our wedding rooms include the Charles Hastings Boardroom, where the British Medical Association was founded in 1832, as well as a choice of modern and light airy rooms set within the same building.
The fascinating Jenny Lind Chapel is also available for drinks receptions to complement your celebrations.

The University of Worcester is fully licensed to hold marriage and civil partnership ceremonies. You will require the attendance of the Superintendent Registrar and a Registrar of the District to carry out the ceremony. Your guests can choose to stay at our City Campus or at the nearby St Johnís campus during summer vacations. We have a wide range of accommodation to suit all budgets and guests can choose from self-catering, B & B or fully catered options. Rooms are organised into spacious flats of 6 or 7 rooms and each flat has a fully equipped modern kitchen/sitting room which means that these are ideal for groups of friends or family.
