Sports Therapy and Injury Rehabilitation

Are you suffering from any of the following?

  • Back and neck problems
  • Sports and soft tissue injuries
  • Joint Problems
  • RSI (Repetitive Strain Injuries)
  • Work related strains/injuries
  • Postural dysfunction
  • Fractures and post-surgical conditions

Sports Therapy helps you to prevent injury wherever possible and, when necessary, helps you back to optimum levels of fitness. This means you should be able to carry on with your day to day life and also continue to take part in sport, regardless of your age and ability.

Using well formulated principles of sport and exercise science, biomechanics, anatomy and physiology our Sports Therapists can prepare you for training and competition, as well as general life and work. This is achieved by providing structured programmes designed to increase and correct your strength, flexibility, conditioning, and endurance, and by advising on proper training techniques, which can help to minimize the risk of injury occurrence or reoccurrence.

Our Sports Therapists can provide sports massage before and after activity, and can provide first aid and attend to injuries in your day to day life and in recreational, training or competitive environment.

Physiotherapy or sports therapy and massage are charged at individual therapist rates. If you require advice about sports therapy treatment or would like the details of our clinicians so you can book an appointment please call 01905 542529 or email wellbeing@worc.ac.uk
