International
The Institute of Sport and Exercise Science takes a global view of the study of sport and actively encourages students to study abroad. We are committed to developing students who have an understanding of international issues and demonstrate cultural awareness.
Apart from the traditional student and lecturer exchanges, activities include short intensive multi-national student programmes, student work placement opportunities, research and development collaborative projects and higher degree student internships. It is also possible to take an integrated part of your course with one of our Erasmus partners in Europe or with partners further afield.
International links
We devote considerable resources to consolidate and further develop relations with institutions abroad. Within Europe, strong links exist with University colleges in Lithuania, Sweden, Holland, Norway, and Slovakia. Beyond Europe, we have developed extensive relationships with institutes in USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
An inclusive community
The Institute of Sport and Exercise Science is also a popular destination for overseas students and a large number of foreign guest lecturers, so even if you complete the entirety of your studies at Worcester, you will still gain a global perspective on the study of sport. All our courses have an international element to the curriculum.
