The Institute of Science and Environment is proud of its commercial links. Our research is carried out with partners in industries ranging from food to pharmaceuticals. We also work with local authorities, government agencies and others interested in our research findings.

Excellent facilities

We are also able to offer our world-class facilities for contract research work, including our new climate controlled chamber and laboratories. Our entrepreneurial approach has seen excellent results, putting our research achievements into the commercial arena.

  A significant proportion of our consultancy work is handling through our two specialist research centres: The Centre for Rural Research and the National Pollen and Aerobiology Research Unit.
