I have been working in the social work area for the last 20 years, both as a practitioner and lecturer, having the opportunity to work in two very different countries and cultures: Romania and then, from 2010, the UK. This was a fantastic learning journey for me, offering me the chance to develop transferable skills and knowledge.

My teaching interests are in area of Law in social work and Methods and interventions in social work practice.

I consider that an effective teaching has to be always delivered in partnership with students, incorporating  their needs, vision and interests.
