Peter Cann is a writer, director and performer. His work has been produced by companies such as: Birmingham Rep, Shared Experience, Welsh National Opera , Absolute Theatre, BBC Radio 4, Channel 4 Television, The Resurrectionists, The Theatre Royal Northampton,.
He was Artistic Director of Pentabus Theatre from 1985 -1989 and has worked as a writer and director in Portugal, South Africa, Korea and Jamaica

The Wrecker’s Daughter - Script and lyrics for a music theatre piece set in an abandoned quarry on Portland
Eleanor Moor - The libretto for a full length opera commissioned by the Wedmore Opera Company (2012)
Echoes - a promenade immersion theatre piece with Gazebo TiE company in Bilston Town Hall (Summer 2011)
Pertencia - a dual language co -production with O Teatro Montemuro and Foursight Theatre. Touring Portugal and UK 2010-2011 (script writer)
Consider the Lilies - the libretto for a cantata based on the experiences of victims of torture commissioned by The Helen Bamber Foundation. Performed in St Martin- In –The Field, London November 2010.
