Research

NPARU brings together academics, scientists, technicians and experts in different fields into one unit covering a wide range of work but with an underlying theme of airborne organic particles and plant science.

Our research is divided into six main areas- Aerobiology, Crop protection and diagnostics, Forensic Palynology, Health & Allied Services, Plant science and Product testing with dedicated teams working in their specialist fields. The Unit undertakes research and development which underpins the commercial work in all areas.

The university environment allows the unit to draws on expertise in other areas such as sport and health.
