Professional Bodies
Publications
Marie’s personal practice is embedded in an inclusive notion of choreography, particularly in relation to cross-disciplinary performative approaches. Her work is often socially or community engaged, set outside conventional theatrical venues, and is concerned with presenting and exploring variable modes of interpretation.
External Responsibilities
In addition to lecturing at the University, Marie works as a freelance dance/arts practitioner and on a project basis with Dancefest (the local dance agency for Worcestershire and Herefordshire). She is director of Angeldance Co. Lab, a Worcester-based collaborative of practicing dance artists who create and perform work together and with artists of other disciplines.
