Registered (general) nurse since 1968. Clinical experience in a variety of adult nurse settings including: - Orthopaedics / A & E / medicine and surgery.

Qualified Youth & Community Worker: youth – 5 years / community – 3 years
Nurse Tutor 1990 / Senior Lecturer 1995 to date teaching both very large and very small groups of nurses and other health care professionals in a variety of contexts both pre- and post-Registration.
Have focussed particularly on legal, ethical and professional aspects of nursing, academic skills and accreditation of prior learning.
