Kinue Snookes
Associate Lecturer in the Language Centre
Institute of Humanities & Creative Arts
Kinue Snookes graduated in English from Kyoto University of Foreign Studies and obtained a qualification in teaching English in Japanese secondary schools. She also completed a course in teaching Japanese as a foreign language in Kyoto, Japan. Kinue started her Japanese teaching career at the University of Edinburgh, other HE and FE institutions and also taught Japanese for business purposes in the early 1990s. She has been involved in writing Japanese teaching materials and has recently become involved in producing teaching e-learning materials here at the University of Worcester.
Teaching & Research
Kinue Snookes is a part time lecture in the Language Centre, teaching Japanese Level 1 and 2. She also teaches Japanese in a local school and Further Education College
