Jane Kubiesa is currently researching the physical transmutability of the literary vampire. She has a background in researching Victorian and Gothic literature and aims to use this knowledge to investigate the body in transformation in contemporary multi-volume vampire fiction. She has been a journalist for more than ten years and is using this experience to add a multi-disciplinary viewpoint to her studies in terms of contemporary media.
