Language Centre
Welcome to the University of Worcester Language Centre
The Language Centre promotes both guided and independent language learning, whether you are interested in improving your English or want to study another language.
Language learning
As an undergraduate you can choose from a range of English and modern foreign language modules, which each count for 15 credit points towards your degree.
Using your student card you can also borrow language learning material for independent study. Our Language Adviser will be happy to guide you through the English and modern foreign language resources that you can borrow in our specialist library, situated in the Bredon building.
Explore the Language Centre pages to find out more about the languages you can study and the support and resources that are available to you.
Support with your English
If English is not your first language and you need some advice, you can book a 20-minute one-to-one session with a tutor. For more information about the drop-in sessions and other language support that is available to you, please click on the link below.
