I am a practising paramedic as well as a senior lecturer on the paramedic science degree. I have an interest in healthcare law, ethics and research. I am very passionate about the profession and believe that with new advanced roles and greater opportunities as a paramedic clinician in the wider health setting, it is a very interesting and exciting time to be part of the profession.

Teaching interests:

My area of interests are healthcare law, ethics and professionalism within healthcare professions

I enjoy teaching research and see it as a very powerful tool that needs to be used more to advance our profession

I love teaching students about vulnerability and safeguarding of patients

I enjoy teaching clinical skills and scenario based learning.

 

Research interests:

My research interests are reflection in the pre-hospital/Paramedicine environment and resilience and coping in the profession.
