Faith joined the Association for Dementia studies (ADS) in July 2017. She is currently working as a research associate on Namaste Care Intervention UK, a multi-component care intervention to improve the lives of people with advanced dementia in UK care homes.
Faith has a background providing creative sensory stimulation for people with dementia during their stay on acute hospital wards. She has spent time investigating the influence sensory engagement can have on communication and quality of life for people with dementia. She has a strong passion for finding new and innovative ways to deliver person-centred care for people with dementia and strives to combine creativity with traditional care interventions.
She has worked on research around neurodiversity and the built environment and has explored good environmental design practices to improve quality of life. In addition, Faith has spent time working in the field of environmental access and sustainability to help remove barriers for disabled people.
