Elizabeth Swift
Senior Lecturer in Drama

Liz Swift is Subject Leader for Drama & Performance at Worcester. Her research interests are in postmodern performance practice, creative writing for digital media and multi-media theatre.
She is a founder member of the performance company, Void, and has written and directed work which has been presented throughout the UK and in mainland Europe and the US.
She presents papers on Void's work and issues relating to performance and new technology at international conferences, and recent publications include articles in 'The International Journal of Performance Arts and Digital Media', '391 Journal' and 'Studies in Theatre and Performance'.
Liz is also a researcher at the Centre for Intermedia, Exeter University.

2004 Writer/ producer: interactive literary hypertext, Singaporeasy, first published by 391 Online Journal (issue 36, Autumn 2004) and subsequently ‘Constellations’ online (Spring 2007). Also presented at Centre for Digital Discourse and Culture (CDDC), Virginia State University (2005).
2002 Writer: digital performance project ‘Spectactor’ based on Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales . Made in collaboration with the Institute of Digital Arts and Technology (IDAT), Plymouth University and ‘ Limbo Media’. Funded by ACE and HEFCE
