Nick currently works part-time as a learning and teaching researcher, supporting academic colleagues with research projects. His work embraces project work in a variety of contexts, working with both students and staff to improve the learning experience. He came to Worcester in 2008 after a career as musician, music teacher and PGCE lecturer. He continues to be active in the field of music education and frequently performs and composes.
