Dr. Faull has a breadth of applied experience in Sport Psychology spanning over 10 years, working with both non-disabled athletes and those with a physical disability. Her experience ranges across all level of competition working with coaches and athletes of Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth Games standard through to club and recreational standard. It is this applied practice which drives her research and the examples that she likes to bring to the classroom, making her classes exciting, relevant and interesting to her students.

As Head of Department for PE, Dance & Coaching, Andrea oversees the running of the courses in this department. Sitting on various ISES committees, Andrea helps support staff with the academic provision on the courses.

Dr. Faull has a breadth of applied experience spanning over 13 years, working with both non-disabled athletes and those with a physical disability. Her experience ranges across all level of competition working with coaches and athletes of Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth Games standard through to club and recreational standard. It is this applied practice which drives her research which involves collaborations with academic’s world-wide.
Her current research focuses in the area of adapted sport including mental skills use in wheelchair athletes (e.g., a current project with Great Britain Wheelchair Basketball). In addition, Dr Faull has researched and published widely in the area of performance anxiety, reflective practice, team selection protocols and clinical referral issues. She also designed and launched the Push2Health programme, a physical activity intervention programme aimed at individuals in the community with a physical impairment. In terms of teaching Andrea is a part of the Sport and Exercise Science teaching team, teaching final year Sport Psychology and also on the Masters programme in the area of Inclusive coaching practice.

Dr Faull has and continues to provide a range of consultancy services to NGB's, professional clubs (including Worcester Wolves basketball), individual athletes, coaches, private schools, colleges as well as businesses.
To inform this work, Dr Faull is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), accredited by the British Association for Sport and Exercise Sciences British Association for Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) and one of only a few British based individuals who are Certified Mental Performance Consultants with the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP). Dr Faull is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

- External Responsibilities
Dr Faull continues to support neophyte practitioners and students with their applied experience to become applied mental skills consultants, successfully supporting multiple students through their BASES Supervised Experience Accreditation.
In addition, Dr Faull also acts as a Reviewer for BASES as well as several academic peer reviewed journals including The Sport Psychologist, Journal of Applied Sport Psychology and Qualitative Research in Sport and Exercise. Dr Faull is also the current External Examiner for Leeds Trinity University and Hartpury.
