Brand new campus

The Worcester Business School has now moved to its new home- a stunning £120m development in the centre of Worcester.

Housed within beautifully restored Georgian buildings, the new campus offers high-tech, flexible and inspirational spaces that facilitate the flow of people and ideas.

City Campus

The brand new City Campus offers state-of-the-art facilities in beautiful historic buildings – all within easy walking distance of the St John’s Campus.

I was immediately drawn to Worcester’s modern and fit for purpose infrastructure as well as the general buzz of activity on the campus.

Excellent teaching facilities

As well as inspiring architecture, the City Campus has up-to-the-minute IT and communication technology and a choice of lecture, conference and seminar spaces.

Our lecture theatres are equipped with the latest in interactive presentation equipment and offer excellent comfort, visibility and acoustics.

Teaching spaces include:

  • Bright and spacious lecture theatres
  • Open plan, communal areas where you can meet and chat with fellow students and staff
  • Board and meeting rooms
  • Computer suites
  • Purpose built games development and networks laboratories

Café

There’s also a café and Starbuck coffee shop on campus, opening on to a large sun terrace. It's an ideal place to socialise, meet colleagues and discuss work assignments, while enjoying views of the city.

Library resources

The library catalogue is fully networked, enabling you to check details at any time, to make reservations, or to renew existing loans. As you would expect from a modern business school library there is heavy investment in electronic information with subscriptions to many specialist databases.

The Hive, Europe’s first joint public and university library is being built next to the City Campus and will open in 2012.

Information technology

Computing rooms are available for student use and for teaching purposes at the Business School. Further rooms are available on the St John’s University campus. The facilities provided are primarily personal computer-based, with some specialist workstations, reflecting the mix of information technology in the business community.

Accommodation

All first-year students are entitled to apply for a place within the University's accommodation –including the new City Halls, which are right next door to the Business School.
