Who are we?

Within Worcester Business School, our Business Development Office is responsible for developing links with the business community. It comprises a team of individuals able to advise you how we can work together to support your business needs. We are aided by the School’s Employers’ Advisory Group, which meets on a regular basis to review and comment on our future development plans.

Who do we work with?

Client organisations: We work with key decision makers in a variety of private, public and third sector organisations, many of whom have been regular clients over a number of years. These include – The NHS (a range of Primary Care and Acute Trusts); Local Government (a range of County, District and Unitary Authorities); West Mercia Police, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire and Staffordshire Constabularies; Ministry of Defence and The Royal Air Force; Her Majesty’s Prison Service; Royal Mail; Financial Services Organisations (eg Lloyds TSB, HBOS Plc, Clerical Medical, NFU Mutual and Virgin Money); Housing Associations, Southco, Malvern Instruments and G4S.

Accreditation and Recognition: We are accredited or recognised by the Association of Business Schools, Chartered Institute of Management, Chartered Institute of Public Relations, Institute of Financial Accountants and Federation of Small Businesses. We also work closely with a number of other professional organisations including the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, British Computer Society and Institute of Directors.

Where do we work?

We are able to work with you at venues to suit your convenience. Many of our clients find it more convenient to work with us in-house, whilst others prefer off-site ‘away’ venues or the inspirational environment of our new £15million Business School development in the heart of Worcester’s business district. We can also arrange ‘flying faculty’ support nationally and internationally. Whatever your needs, we like to visit you to gain a better understanding of your business and your objectives.
