Brazil-UK Football Development Course

Developing Young Players Through Football

This course will be of interest to football coaches, teachers and students with an interest in ‘the beautiful game’ and developing young players.

The Brazil UK Football development course has successfully run for the last few years. The course has been successfully run at both Worcester and São Paulo and the relationships and knowledge base is developing for the benefit of all students of the game. Glyn Harding (Senior Lecturer and UEFA A Licence)

Coaching styles are presented to students through practical examples directly applicable to football. These areas are approached from combined Brazilian and English viewpoints.

Experienced lecturers and renowned coaches from the University of São Paulo (rated the ‘best University in Latin America’ by the Academic Ranking of World Universities), deliver workshops, including those on parental influence and talent identification. Members of the English Football Association and staff from the University of Worcester also give significant input, on areas including Performance Analysis and Youth Football.

This course offers an exchange of methods of football practice between English and Brazilian students, and the opportunity to visit and experience a new country.
