Information for teachers and careers/higher education advisers

Our team of outreach and recruitment professionals will visit schools and colleges to inform and advise on all aspects of going to university from how to research and apply for the right course at the right place to how budget and make the most of the student experience at university.

We also offer activities and resources to keep teachers and careers advisors, students and their parents up-to-date with developments at the University of Worcester and in the higher education sector. During the summer term we will be holding a series of weekly bite-sized CPD training sessions for teachers and advisers aimed at providing you with the skills, knowledge and tools to advise and support your students through the application process. In addition we will come out to your school or college to deliver tailored CPD sessions. For more information about these sessions or the work we do please contact the Outreach and Recruitment Office at

This teachers and advisers toolkit has been designed to help you with your work informing and advising students and includes fact sheets, presentations and exercises. Some of the resources can be shared with students and others are to improve your skills and knowledge. If you have any ideas for additional resources we would welcome you getting in touch as we will be adding to the library over time
