The course will provide a unique opportunity for coaches to meet others from a nation where football is the major sport, so that ideas and methodologies can be explored and discussed.
The University of Worcester has a purpose built Performance Analysis laboratory. There are multiple computer stations that employ a number of specialist packages, including Focus and Sports Code. Games can be edited and key events are highlighted in a way to analyse teams of young players and individuals.
The students on the course will be looking at the potential employment of performance analysis in football. Using the software used to analyse the similarities and differences between Brazilian and English football.
