Masters in Teaching and Learning
Teach West Midlands (TWM) is leading the Masters in Teaching and Learning in the region. The MTL is a new award that supports NQTs and new Heads of Departments in certain schools. The MTL aims to develop professional practice through an enquiry- and practice-based approach to further study.
It is:
- A TDA fully-funded and accredited Masters-level award;
- Based in school – focussing on day-to-day practice;
- Personalised – so teachers can choose their areas to develop, research and study;
- Designed to develop teaching and learning skills;
- Based on working with a school-based coach to guide and support the participant through their course.
