This course is ideal for students who enjoy the countryside and would like a career in the environment, wildlife conservation or sustainability.
Course modules are at two levels. First level modules provide an introduction to environmental systems, biodiversity and conservation with a firm foundation in natural science. Intermediate modules cover sustainability, wildlife management andenvironmental interpretation.
All modules are delivered by staff with substantial industrial experience which supports students in their preparation for the workplace. Students studying this course full-time have a compulsory work-based learning component included in their programme of study and may also take the recommended option of a one-year industrial placement.
This course is taught at Pershore College in collaboration with the University of Worcester.
