Scholarships for your country

New Zealander students are entitled to the following scholarships:

Academic Scholarships

The University awards scholarships of £1000 to eligible undergraduate students in their first and second year of a degree course or first year of a Foundation degree or HND on the basis of their academic achievement at the University of Worcester. Students do not apply for these scholarships as they are awarded to eligible students with the best academic profiles across the University.

International Scholarship Criteria

At the University of Worcester, depending on your degree, you are automatically awarded a scholarship.

Students that enrol in their first year for an undergraduate degree and have achieved 360 UCAS points or equivalent are qualified for a £3000 scholarship, 320 UCAS points or equivalent receive £2000 scholarship and 280 UCAS points or equivalent receive £1000.

If you are applying for a postgraduate degree, if your degree is at least a UK 2:1 or equivalent, we are offering you a scholarship of £3000. Also, if you have received a 2:2 degree, you will be rewarded with a scholarship of £2000.

University Scholarships (Extra-Curricular Activities)

Students have the opportunity twice a year to apply for funds, up to £1000, to assist them with activities such as:

• Voluntary activities which are community based, either in the UK or abroad
• Activities related to a past-time or interest in which the student is involved (e.g. music or some other arts-based area; elite sport)

Entry requirements

Entry requirements

Please use the information below as a guide. Other qualifications, such as work experience, may also be taken into consideration in addition to the requirements listed below and all applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Higher National Diploma (HND) or Foundation (FdA/FdSc) courses may ask for a lower grade and some specialist BA/BSc courses may have a higher requirement. Specific course requirements can be found on individual course pages.

Candidates with other qualifications should contact the International Recruitment Office with full details on international@worc.ac.uk, in order to check their eligibility.

Undergraduate (courses requiring a UCAS tariff range of 96-112)

Postgraduate

Applicants with the New Zealand University Entrance Certificates with National Certificate in Educational Achievement (NCEA) Level 3 (65 to 70 Level 3 credits) with a majority of Merits/Excellences in subjects relevant to the degree level study will be considered for admission to our Undergraduate degree courses.

Other equivalent English qualifications will be considered.

Pass the New Zealand Bachelor degree (Honours) with a B- / C+

Other equivalent English qualifications will be considered.
