Widening Participation and the Local Community

Widening Participation and the Local Community The Community Prospectus provides details of all the facilities available for use at the University by any individual or community group.

The second edition is now available, and has been distributed to households surrounding the current campus, and the new campus site at Castle Street.

The fourth edition was made widely available, in the form of an updated 2008 Community Calendar.

The team works with a number of local voluntary organisations, volunteer centres and Community First.
University Community Forum

The University holds regular meetings, chaired by John Ryan (Registrar and University Secretary), where you have the opportunity to raise issues that affect you and hear about the latest university developments. It is vital that we receive feedback from local community members in order to improve our operations.

If you would like to join this group or find out more information please get in touch.

If you work in the voluntary and community sector and wish to discuss volunteering opportunities, student placements, or any other areas where the university can work in partnership with you, or if you have any comments, then please contact Catherine Smith: catherine.smith@worc.ac.uk
